OWNER AND FOUNDER

Paolo Domeneghetti is an entrepreneur and executive leader with over 30 years of diversified experience in Wine & Spirits, Restaurants and Luxury Branding. He is a creative manager with disciplined acumen in business operations. Mr. Domeneghetti is recognized in the Wine & Spirits industry for excellence in portfolio development, depth of knowledge, leadership and creative branding and marketing. During his career Mr. Domeneghetti has conceptualized, designed, and operated several independent award-winning restaurants in NYC and Miami and he has organized European mentorships for award winning American chefs.

Born in Italy, Mr. Domeneghetti moved to the United States in 1990 where he began his career in hospitality, later founding one of the most notable importers of fine wines and artisanal spirits. He is a member of Associazione Italiana Sommeliers and International order of Anysetiers as well as the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade where he has been recognized as a leader in bringing artisanal brands to the U.S. market. Mr. Domeneghetti’s appreciation for food and beverage has been forged by decades of global travel and experience founded in his true passion, which he now brings to La Màrtola in exquisite simplicity that is creatively inspired.
